San Antonio de Padua

Situated along a narrow street linking the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay road to the town of Silang, San Antonio de Padua has become a popular church for weddings because of the peaceful and tranquil surroundings.

The charming church of San Antonio de Padua is a prime location as a part of your wedding package in Manila because of its simple, yet grandiose design.

Upon entering, you are welcomed by a magnificent fountain made of cobblestone with. The rim of the fountain and the angel statuettes are painted in white, while at the center is the image of Saint Anthony with the child Jesus. The path ahead is surrounded by lovely flora.

About the Venue

A combination of trees and small plants frame the road toward the porch of the main entrance. Inside the church, angled wooden ceiling beams mantle over, wonderfully laid out and peppered with iron chandeliers. The light colored stone columns provide perfect accents for the exquisitely designed steel grille crosses under each arch.

Above the arches are stained-glass windows that let natural light pass through, illuminating the ornate patterned polished wood floor.

The pews are made of wood, forming two columns that hug the long and stagy aisle toward the extravagant gold altar with the image of Saint Anthony de Padua and the Child Jesus. Overhead the altar is a beautiful painting of the resurrected image of Jesus.
